Doris the Duck is a duck living in the African landscape.

Physical Appearance

Doris resembles that of a typical yellow duck (similarly, a domestic duck). Doris has yellow plumage all around her body and an orange beak and a pair of orange feet. Due to her size, it is hard to tell if Doris is a duckling or a juvenile.

Personality

Doris is often seen with Kevin and Toby in many occasions. In spite of this, Doris' personality can sometimes show a rather bossy or irresponsible personality, often leading to consequences of herself. Additionally, she can often make duck quacks in certain occasions which can irritate other animals to make them feel uncomfortable. Despite this, Doris does not count as a genuine villainess but rather an anti-heroine who becomes selfish at first but later shows self-improvement on occasions where she appears on stories focusing on Doris the most.

Trivia

• Doris is either based on a Peking duck or a South African shelduck. However, due to her size based on the basis of the species, it is very hard to tell if Doris is a duckling or a juvenile duck.
• Doris is usually friends with Kevin. However, in real-life, crocodiles and ducks are enemies.
• Her signature sound is "quack".
• Doris is one of the members of the trio to appear in some episodes without either Toby or Kevin.
• Doris is the only member of the trio that is a bird.
• Her first appearance was actually in Episode 2, despite being seen in the opening song. Doris is first seen interacting with Toby at the marsh, which she retreats from Victor who bites Toby's tail, only for him to be released by Victor's mouth when Kevin bites his tail.
