Physical Appearance

Beverley has a thick fur all around her body and feet as well as having a lavender tail. Despite being a beaver, she lacks a nose and a pair of ears.

Personality

As a beaver, Beverley is often seen with a busy personality when it comes to making dams. Once destroyed, it leads Beverley to becomes very sensitive about the hard work she lost to build a big dam like no other beaver has done. In spite of this, she occasionally shows a good friendship with Boris, Melanie, or even Randolph whenever she approaches either of them. However, in spite of her hobbies in cutting down trees, she also understands that shouldn't cut down ever single tree in the forest, as they provide a natural resource for certain advantages like Randolph's mushroom farm.

Trivia

  • Depending on the channel that broadcasts the series in the closed captions, "Beverley" may be occasionally spelled "Beverly".
  • She, along with Randolph and Barbara's parents are the only characters to be given American accents (not counting the characters with different voices from the US re-dub).
  • Her first appearance was actually Episode 21, despite being shown in the opening song. She is seen standing on a tree trunk on a river "surfing" through the alpine forest.
  • Since Beverley lives in the North American forest, she is based on a North American beaver (Castor canadensis).
  • Prior to different seasons, the catchphrase "Timber!" has a different tone.
  • Beverley's name is of British origin which means "from the beaver stream", which is fitting for Beverley herself being a beaver.
