Granddad Chameleon

Granddad Chameleon (or simply Granddad) is the grandfather of Casper. He tells Casper to use his camouflaging carefully.

Physical Appearance

Granddad Chameleon has a purple coloration all over his body just like his grandson Casper as well as having an orange tongue - albeit not having yellow spots all over his body. Unlike most characters in the series, Casper's grandfather has visionary eyes, making him unique amongst other characters in the series.

Personality

Unlike Casper, Granddad is very serious and strict and always on a lookout for his grandson. He is very protective of his grandson Casper. He dislikes Casper when he talks with his mouth full and using camouflage skills the wrong way.

When his grandson Casper does camouflaging in an improper way, Granddad tells him to use his camouflaging ability wisely, which Casper refuses to listen to his grandfather. Granddad discusses with Audrey and Herbert about Casper not listening to his grandfather's warning. Soon as Casper was almost punished by his grandfather for ignoring his warning, Casper apologises to Granddad once again.

Trivia

• Granddad is the only character in the series to have visionary eyes. Visionary eyes are the common characteristics of a chameleon.
• He might be based on a panther chameleon.
• Granddad shares similar characteristics with Nelson. He and Nelson are very protective of their children and are always strict on them whether they are doing good or bad. They also both dislike their children who do naughty stuff or never listen to other animals for advice.
• Casper's granddad and the other chameleon in the intro are the only chameleons that do not have spots.
