This picture book is based on the fifth episode (or pilot episode) of 64 Zoo Lane. Henrietta, an unusual hippo, becomes taunted by the other hippos who look at her hair body. She escaped from the Zambam River and went on an adventure from the desert, the jungle, and the Blue Mountain where a friendly bird gave her a haircut just before returning home to tell her story about her adventures..

Differences between the book and the episode[]
- There is additional scene of the hippos looking at Henrietta's princess hairdo being completely ruined while discussing with the other hippos about the adventures she had earlier. Instead of laughing at her, the hippos continued to tell Henrietta about her adventures she had earlier just as they and Henrietta enjoy their moments splashing in the Zambam River while telling Henrietta more of her adventures. This scene is obviously unique to the book version and not the animated episode itself.
Trivia[]
- The hippos at the Zambam River taunting Henrietta telling in the first part of the story are named "The Hippo Choir". In the episode itself, the hippos did not have a unique group name.
- The spider that tried to eat Henrietta was named the "Big Spider".
