The Hippo Choir[1] are a group of hippos who live in the Zambam River.
Physical Appearance
The hippo choir consists of four identical unnamed hippos who live in the Zambam River. Although identical to each other, there are four hippos of different sizes seen within the group.
Personality
When they first saw Henrietta, they made fun of her hairy body at first, which drove the hippo away in fear. This led to Henrietta walking far away from the river where she lives to faraway such as a desert, a jungle, and even the Blue Mountain. When Henrietta returned to the Zambam River, they became impressed upon seeing Henrietta's princess hairdo, they became impressed upon seeing it as Henrietta continues to tell the other hippos about the adventures she had earlier, unaware of the hairdo completely wearing out.

- The hippos are voiced by Adrienne Posta, Anna Bentinck, Bob Saker, Keith Wickham and Lewis MacLeod respectively.
- In the book version of "Henrietta the Hairy Hippo", there is another scene of the hippos looking at Henrietta's princess hairdo being completely ruined while discussing with the other hippos about the adventures she had earlier. Instead of laughing at her, the hippos continued to tell Henrietta about her adventures she had earlier just as they and Henrietta enjoy their moments splashing in the Zambam River while telling Henrietta more of her adventures. This scene is obviously unique to the book version and not the animated episode itself.
