Opening Song 2D

These Flamingos are shown landing at the Old Volcano with tall grass and doing their strut poses.

Background[]

Like most flamingos in the series, they are seen in a plumage of pink feathers and light pink wings.

Originally in Season 1 and Season 2 in the intro of every episode of 64 Zoo Lane, they are seen landing on a tall grass of the Old Volcano albeit without eyelashes. In Season 3 and 4, the flamingos gain eyelashes unlike in the previous two seasons. Unlike other flamingos, this trio of unnamed flamingos does not appear any episode.

This trio appears on the theme song heard in Season 1, Season 2, Season 3 and Season 4 respectively during the verse "64, 64, 64 Zoo Lane" verse. In the scene where they appear, each flamingo lands on the patch of tall grass and then later doing their strut poses in sync with the song's tune. After that, the scene loops into the "Some are spotty verse" where Harry the Hyena appears.

Appearances[]

Note: These characters do not speak and therefore, do not have any lines.

Trivia[]

  • These flamingos are most likely greater flamingos - judging the fact that there is a patch of tall grass in the scene where they appear hinting that it is likely an African setting.
  • Though they are seen landing in a patch of tall grass (supposedly representing the savannah), flamingos in real life are commonly found in areas that have water in it - mostly in lagoons or shallow lakes.
  • In the first and second seasons, the flamingos are seen without eyelashes. However, in the third and fourth seasons, the flamingos had a minor redesign where they were seen with eyelashes which could imply that they are females.
